Duvon™ delivered a marine-grade pro-court retrofit engineered for coastal salt-air durability and tournament-grade visibility on the existing pole infrastructure.
The courts’ proximity to the Pacific Ocean required lighting equipment specifically designed to withstand salt-laden air and accelerated corrosion. The previous metal-halide fixtures had deteriorated prematurely, with pitted housings and degraded gaskets after fewer than five years of service.
Duvon supplied ProCourt Series 400W LED court lights featuring marine-grade housings, stainless-steel hardware, corrosion-resistant mounting components, and a salt-spray-tested powder-coated finish. The fixtures were installed on the existing poles, minimizing construction work and reducing overall project costs.
During the site survey and photometric design process, the asymmetric optics were carefully aimed to deliver uniform illumination across the playing surface while reducing glare and unwanted light spill beyond the court boundaries.
The completed system delivers 75 foot-candles of maintained average horizontal illuminance with consistent court coverage. It also eliminates the flickering and lengthy restrike delays associated with the previous metal-halide system, providing instant-on operation and a better experience for players, staff, and spectators.
